The density of FRP tank is normally 1.8-2.0 g/cm3. It is around ¼ of Steel. The intensity of FRP is higher than Steel, Casting and Plastic on their relative density. Heat expansion coefficient is the same as Steel's. Heat transfer coefficient is 0.5% of Steel's. FRP is an excellent insulation on electricity and heat.
